Nissan brings electrified lineup to Singapore Motorshow 2023

MANILA: Taking place from January 12 to January 15, 2023, the forthcoming Singapore Motorshow 2023 will feature Nissan's amazing lineup of electrified vehicles.

The Nissan Ariya, a fully electric luxury coupé crossover, will debut in Southeast Asia for the first time in 2023. Additionally, Nissan's new electrified brand identity is introduced in Southeast Asia at this ASEAN premiere. The 2023 Nissan X-Trail e-Power premium SUV, which continues to realize the electrification dream for families and C-suite executives, shares the spotlight.

The 2023 Nissan Ariya, the company's first all-electric coupe crossover, features a comfortable, opulent lounge-like interior in addition to strong acceleration and quiet, seamless operation.

The Ariya is Nissan's pinnacle of design and technology, combining form with function to provide an enjoyable driving experience. Because it is a 100% electric car, it does away with the fundamental constraints of internal combustion engines and enables designers to rethink existing parts. Nissan's design ethos has undergone a considerable reinterpretation as a result of the Nissan Ariya.

This new direction is inspired by what Nissan refers to as "Timeless Japanese futurism," which is characterized by a minimalist Japanese approach communicated in a modern, straightforward, yet potent manner. In order to convey how an EV combined with sophisticated driving skills may offer a new viewpoint on form, function, and the ownership experience, designers embraced this and used the key ideas of "sleek, seductive, and seamless."

Meanwhile, the 2023 Nissan X-Trail e-Power with e-4orce is the fourth e-Power model to be introduced in Singapore.

The second-generation e-Power system, which offers enhanced power, smoothness, and quietness, is included with the 2023 Nissan X-Trail. The gasoline engine of the system, which is the first mass-produced variable compression ratio engine in history, generates energy.

The X-Trail's turbo engine has been specially tuned for the e-Power system, which dramatically increases output even at low revs. While retaining a high level of fuel efficiency, the combination of e-Power with the turbo engine offers a dynamic driving experience and unmatched silence.

By allowing deceleration when the accelerator pedal is released, e-Pedal Step lessens the need to use the brakes. The feature offers greater peace of mind and more comfortable driving on city streets, slick surfaces, and incline roads.

Meanwhile, the 2023 Nissan X-Trail incorporates e-4orce that combines Nissan's electric power, four-wheel drive management, and chassis-control technologies for a significant improvement in acceleration, cornering, and braking capabilities.

On a range of road surfaces, e-4orce improves driving performance and confidence while giving all passengers an extraordinarily comfortable in-car experience.

To increase tire frictional force, e-4orce precisely regulates the driving force and braking of the front and rear twin electric motors by analyzing the road surface and the condition of the vehicle in real time. This guarantees easy cornering and increases driving assurance.

E-4orce reduces tire slippage and permits smooth starting and driving even in slick circumstances by always ensuring maximum traction. The front and rear motors control regenerative balance during acceleration to steady the movement of the vehicle and provide a comfortable ride for the driver and passengers.

At the Singapore Motor Show 2023, visitors to the Nissan booth can also catch their first glimpse of the new 2023 Nissan Kicks e-Power, electric Nissan Leaf, alongside the recently launched Nissan Qashqai crossover, the new Serena e-Power MPV, and the Note e-Power Adventure Series hatchback.
