Nissan exporting LHD Magnite units since Feb, PH getting it soon?

MANILA: As of February 2025, Nissan has already shipped over 10,000 units of the Magnite left-hand-drive (LHD) variant to several regions around the world.

The carmaker has already provided the nameplate to territories such as Latin America, the Middle East, North Africa, and the Asia Pacific Region.

The said exports for the aforementioned subcompact crossover were produced in India. Per Nissan, its ramping up of Magnite exports is a crucial part of its “One Car, One World Strategy.” 

With Asia Pacific included, we can surmise that Nissan Magnite’s official launch in the Philippines might be happening soon. The said prediction is likewise supported by the brand’s grand presentation at last year’s Philippine International Motor Show, where it featured the said nameplate. 

For now, Nissan Philippines has yet to indicate if the Magnite is indeed heading for the local market. So, while waiting for an official announcement from the Japanese car maker’s local arm, let’s check out the global version’s specifications. 

Nissan Magnite: global specifications

In regions where it is sold, the Nissan Magnite is a well-equipped ride that comes with a host of safety gear and creature comforts. 

Some notable interior features of the Nissan-made crossover include a nine-inch infotainment touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. It also has an automatic air-conditioning system, a push-to-start button, 60:40 split-folding rear seats, built-in WiFi tethering, and leather upholstery - among others. 

The top-spec LHD version sold in India also has the following safety features:
