Nissan PH launches new Almera VL Sport Turbo variant

The Nissan Almera VL Sport Turbo can produce up to 98 horsepower and 152 Newton-meters of torque.The trim sits as the turbocharged sedan model’s new top-spec option, and it received plenty of exterior styling revisions, which made it more athletic-looking. Exterior
On the outside, NPI shared that the Nissan Almera VL Sport Turbo was designed with style in mind.
Up front, the sedan wears a gloss black grille, which bears a “Sport” badge. It also received a black-colored front lip with a red contrast-color trim and a pair of sharp LED headlamp clusters. Its flanks were also enhanced with side skirts, while its rear end received a black-colored trunk-mounted spoiler and an additional Sport badge.

Specifically, the newly launched Almera version is 58 millimeters longer compared to the other trims.
Completing the look of the model is a set of 16-inch alloy wheels. It was also kitted out with power-folding side mirrors and a pair of LED taillights.

Interior
The cabin of the Nissan Almera VL Sport Turbo was enhanced visually, thanks to the addition of black and leather grey seats with Reddish Orange and White contrast stitching, as well as “Sport Embroidering.” The vehicle’s dashboard, door cards, and center armrest received Reddish Orange stitching, as well.
Placed on the model’s dashboard is an eight-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The model likewise has Bluetooth connectivity, several USB ports, and a six-piece speaker system.

Like the other locally available Nissan Almera trims, the new VL Sport uses a 1.0-liter turbocharged inline-3 gasoline mill capable of producing up to 98 horsepower and 152 Newton-meters of torque.
Power is sent to its front wheels through a continuously variable transmission. It also features an idling stop system for added fuel efficiency.
Handling ride quality for the model is a MacPherson strut front suspension and a torsion beam rear end. Stopping power is provided by a front disc brake and a rear drum brake.
