Nissan PH rolls out zero-interest payments for aftersales products, services
Zero-interest payments are made available for Nissan clients holding credit cards from BPI, EastWest Bank, and BDO.
MANILA: Nissan Philippines has introduced a zero-interest payment scheme for its clients who want to avail of its aftersales products and its line of aftersales services. According to the brand, the new payment arrangement can make it easier and more convenient for customers to maintain Nissan rides.
As per the marque, the zero-interest-rate offer from the car brand was made possible through partnerships with several financial institutions such as EastWest Bank, Bank of the Philippine Island (BPI), and Banco De Oro.
With regards to how this works, credit card holders of the banks mentioned above can now opt to pay in installments with zero interest rates for the following Nissan products and services:
- Genuine parts and accessories
- Genuine Merchandise
- Nissan Service Protection Plan
- Other related aftersales services
Of note, the Nissan Service Protection Plan is available only from select dealerships. For those unaware, the aforementioned program is a series of discounted periodic maintenance packages (PMS) curated to optimize the service schedules of particular Nissan models.
Newly-minted Nissan President Yasuhisa Masuda said the new zero-interest payment arrangement for aftersales products and services is part of the automotive brand’s initiative to improve the Nissan car ownership experience further.
“We continue our efforts to enhance the ownership experience with Nissan’s vehicles as we introduce the zero-interest payment method for aftersales purchases, aimed at making the customer journey more convenient,” Masuda said.
To inform current Nissan car owners, the Japanese company’s aftersales services can be booked through the “Nissan Assist.” The smartphone app is touted by the car brand as a time saver and is available for download on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
