KEY TAKEAWAYS

  • When will Nissan Philippines unveil its latest offering?

Nissan Philippines shall launch its newest offering in March 2025.
  • What will be the seventh-generation Nissan Patrol's possible pricing in the Philippines?

Should it enter the Philippine market, the premium sport utility vehicle's pricing will likely be north of P5 million.
  • During a recent engagement with motoring media, Masuda said that the new offering will arrive in March. However, he did not share any details about it.

However, Zigwheels Philippines has a strong belief that it will likely be the latest version of the Patrol, which was revealed globally late last year.

While waiting for NPI’s official announcement, here are some bits of information about the possibly-upcoming model.

    Upcoming 7th-gen Patrol Specs

Now on its seventh-generation iteration, the latest Nissan Patrol comes with a new powertrain, and a sturdy design to match its technological advancements.

    Exterior

As seen in overseas markets, the all-new Nissan Patrol sports a boxy, modern look.

At its fore is a wide mesh “V-motion” grille with a pair of horizontal chrome bars inside. This is flanked by C-shaped headlamps and daytime running lights (both LED) that are positioned on top of each other.

To its side are the black pillars that bisect the vehicle’s roof and the lower portion — giving it a two-tone look. A subtle body line runs from the front fender all the way to the rear.

The same design theme at the front fascia continues at the back as the all-new Nissan Patrol’s rear comes with C-shaped LED tail lights, and an LED light bar.

Other noticeable portions of the vehicle are the following:

    • Roof-mounted spoiler
    • 22-inch wheels

    Interior

Inside, the all-new Nissan Patrol’s cabin is wrapped in premium materials. It is also fitted with a pair of 14.3-inch digital displays (cluster gauge and infotainment system) linked together.

Other amenities of the next-generation Nissan Patrol include:

    • Power-adjustable driver seat with a massage function
    • Panoramic sunroof
    • 12-piece Klipsch Premium sound system
    • Quilted leather seats

Meanwhile, optional bits for the seven-seater premium sport utility vehicle are:

    • Dual 12.8-inch screens
    • 64-color ambient lighting system
    • Power-folding function for the third row
    • Biometric Cooling Technology

    Powertrain

Powering the all-new Nissan Patrol abroad is a 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6 engine, which can provide the following figures:

    Maximum output (in horsepower)

    426

    Peak torque (in Newton-meters)

    700

The aforementioned mill is mated to a nine-speed automatic gearbox.

Assuring stability and comfort is the vehicle’s adaptive air suspension system.

The model also comes with a four-wheel-drive transfer interlock system and various drive modes (standard, sand, rock, mud/rut, eco, and sport).

    Technologies

Furthermore, the all-new Patrol is outfitted with Nissan’s ProPilot suite of advanced driver-assist systems (ADAS) which is made up of:

    • Panoramic view camera
    • Around view monitor
    • Automatic emergency braking
    • Pedestrian detection
    • Forward collision warning
    • Rear automatic emergency braking
    • Lane-keep assist
    • Adaptive cruise control

Lastly, the author is expecting that should NPI decide to bring the all-new Nissan Patrol, its pricing would probably breach the P5-million mark as the current offering already has a starting price of P4.758 million.
