Nissan sells 1.052-M units globally in Apr.-Jul. 2024

MANILA: Nissan has sold a total of 1,052,738 units worldwide from April-July 2024.

Per the Japanese carmaker, it sold 140,692 vehicles domestically in the same time period. Of which, 85,435 units were made up of passenger vehicles and commercial vehicles while the remaining 55,257 consisted of mini vehicles.

For the month of July, it sold a total of 42,696 vehicles in its home country.

Outside the country, Nissan sold a total of 912,046 automobiles. Its best region for the said timeframe was North America with sales of up to 426,331 units. It was followed by China at 219,108 units and Europe at 103,767 units.

Nissan’s July overseas sales amounted to 261,386 units.

In general, Nissan’s overall sales in Japan this year — when compared to the same time period in 2023 — were down by 4.9 percent. Likewise, its performance on the global stage dropped by 3.2 percent.

It was not revealed, which models were among the company’s best-sellers. In the Philippines, Nissan’s offerings include passenger vehicles like the Kicks e-Power, Navara, Almera, Terra, Livina, Patrol, Urvan, and Leaf.

The brand also has performance-oriented options like the GT-R and Z.
