Nissan to display iconic race cars at 25th NISMO festival
Event commemorates the motorsport division’s 40th anniversary
MANILA: Nissan Motor Corporation Limited is set to display a set of historically significant vehicles at the 25th Nissan Motorsports International Corporation Limited (NISMO) festival.

The 2024 NISMO festival commemorates the 40th anniversary of the tuning and motorsports division.The said event, which will be held at the Fuji Speedway Shizuoka, Japan, on December 1, celebrates NISMO’s 40th anniversary. As such, the aforementioned cars that will be shown off are some of the greatest to have ever been produced and developed by Nissan’s high-performance and motorsports division.
Some of the vehicles to be displayed at the grand event include several Nissan-NISMO Le Mans contenders from the 1990s.
Another car to be displayed at the grand event is the Nissan GT-R R35, which clinched the driver’s title at the FIA GT1 World Championship. Likewise making an appearance is the Group A-spec Skyline GT-R R32, which debuted at the All Japan Championship in March 1990 with the now iconic “Calsonic” livery.
Additionally, the festival will see demonstration runs from NISMO vehicles such as the 270R, 400R, and R34 GT-R Z-Tune. The motorsport division will also field its latest contenders like the GT-R NISMO and the Ariya NISMO.
Apart from the cars, race fans will also get to meet and interact with racing greats such as Masahiro Hasemi, Kazuyoshi Hoshino, and Masahiko Kondo.
The event will also see a talk show featuring eight drivings from the Super GT GT500 class and another show themed around the NISMO 40th anniversary.
