Nissan to manufacture eco-friendly and sustainable cars in future
MANILA: In the recent years, Nissan has emerged as an amazing manufacturer of commercial vehicles and good pick-up trucks. Nissan has also received various prestigious recognition at the national level as well as international level. Nissan vehicles receive a good rating in the global automotive market. Besides making performance driven cars, Nissan is preparing to develop more green cars in the coming years.
The change in the climate has become a serious issue and the prominent automakers need to take proper step in order to offer a sustainable growth. Nissan aims to manufacture vehicles with zero emission and fatalities. To control the growing global market, it has become important to get out of the dependency of fossil fuels, petroleum, and city congestion.
Nissan believes to do more in dropping its fuel economy globally and work on reduction of serious accidents by creating eco-friendly zero emission cars. In Japan, the injuries got reduced by 61 percent as reported by the automaker. Recently, Nissan has come up with its latest Leaf model which is one of the best-selling EV in the global market. Nissan has successfully sold 192,653 units by September, 2015 and this led to the reduction in 610,026 metric tons of carbon dioxide emissions.
Apart from the Nissan Leaf, the Nissan IDS Concept (Intelligent Driving) has also been revealed at the 44th Tokyo Motor Show 2015 which featured some enhancement in the driving abilities and reduces road accidents by 90 percent. It got ‘Piloted Drive’ feature that alerts the driver to customize the driving preference like braking, acceleration, and turning.
In other words, Nissan wants to build up a reliable cooperation with the drivers and ensure that the car owners get better access to the services.
