Nissan to showcase selection of concept cars in Tokyo Auto Salon 2023

MANILA: At the Tokyo Auto Salon 2023, the Nissan Fairlady Z customized edition, which won the Grand Prix in the Tokyo International Custom Car Contest in 2022, will make its debut. The 2023 Nissan Fairlady Z modified proto, which was unveiled at the Tokyo Auto Salon 2022, is this model's mass-market counterpart.

The Makuhari Messe will host the Tokyo Auto Salon 2023 from January 13 to January 15. Additionally, Nissan's stand will include a variety of products under the Nissan and Nismo brands.

A 400-horsepower three-liter V6 twin-turbo engine and either a new nine-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters or a six-speed manual transmission are available for the 2023 Nissan Z.

The Nissan Z Proto Spec edition, which will only be available in 240 units for the U.S. market, will pay respect to the 2020 Z Proto with specific interior and exterior features, a special plaque, and other details.

As for performance, the Z will feature a mechanical limited-slip differential that helps distribute power to the driven wheel with the best grip. An available launch control will help eliminate the sports car's wheel spin and hop, by holding the engine at a pre-set rpm and modulates power during launches.

The all-new Serena, which was shown in November, as well as concept versions of the Nissan Roox, Caravan, Cube, Sakura, and Ariya will also be on display at the Nissan stand.

Together, Nismo and Autech, known for their Carrozzeria and high levels of added value and delivering motorsport thrills through Super GT and the FIA Formula E World Championship, will present four vehicles.

Eight Caravans will be on display in conjunction with an outdoor magazine from publisher Geibunsha to commemorate the model's 50th birthday in February 2023.

At the Tokyo Auto Salon in 2023, the Nissan Roox Suite concept will make an appearance. Nissan's car-sharing service Nissan E-share Mobi will feature designs for the 2023 Nissan Sakura and 2023 Nissan Ariya, two brand-new, totally electric minicars that were introduced in May. Both models will be on exhibit at Kyoto's Autobacs main store. The idea incorporates contemporary Japanese style with a side wrap of emblems evoking Kyoto. Nissan's Japanese partner Autobacs Seven created panels and floor mats for the Nissan Sakura E-Share Mobi Kyoto concept's interior.
