Nissan’s Jan.-Apr. global sales hit 1.1-M mark

MANILA: Nissan’s global vehicle sales covering the months from January to April 2024 have reached a total of 1.105 million.

Per the Japanese carmaker, the abovementioned figure covers both its domestic (177,223 units) and overseas (928,548 units) sales. The number reported reflected an average year-on-year increase of 5.2 percent.

For the month of April alone, Nissan handed over some 30,054 vehicles to its customers in Japan and about 243,291 vehicles to its clients abroad.

It was not disclosed which of Nissan’s cars were among its best-sellers. In the Philippines, the company is offering nameplates such as the Almera, Livina, Terra, and Navara.

The brand also has its toes dipped in the country’s new-energy vehicle segment, thanks to models like the Leaf and Kicks e-Power.

Further, Nissan Philippines also offers products for performance-hungry car buyers in the form of the Z and GT-R.
