Six students will get to experience the Nissan Kicks and use it to make music videos during the campaign. After each of the six has finished filming, Nissan employees will vote for their favorite, selecting one winner to receive $1,000 (approximately P58,000) that will be allocated for their education.
Nissan Kicks is a great choice for any music lover because of its dynamic interior and exterior design, technology that supports a connected life, and standard safety features. The US-spec Nissan Kicks comes with a class-exclusive Bose Personal Plus audio system, which uses speakers mounted on the driver's headrest to create an immersive 360-degree soundscape. Standard Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, along with multiple USB charging ports, help keep the music playing.
“Stylish and well-equipped, the Nissan Kicks is designed to handily accommodate drivers and their belongings, including gear for that next music gig. We're incredibly excited to work with aspiring artists this fall and can't wait to see and hear the creativity they deliver,” Reese said.
In the Philippines, Nissan Kicks features e-Power technology. With e-Power, Nissan's existing electric vehicle technology is combined with a petrol engine whose sole purpose is to charge the battery. This delivers a ride that is more powerful and fuel-efficient than a conventional petrol-powered car while also being quieter.
Nissan Kicks e-Power was officially launched in the Philippines last August with a starting price of P1.209 million. Its arrival in the country strengthened Nissan’s leadership in electrified mobility, providing Filipinos another exciting innovation to improve their daily drive.
Nissan Kicks e-Power is available in three variants: the e-Power VL, e-Power VE, and e-Power EL.
Nissan Kicks e-Power is powered by a fully electric motor that produces 136 ps of power and 280 Nm of torque. It also comes with a 1.2-liter DOHC 12-valve, three-cylinder engine whose sole purpose is to charge the battery.
Another feature that contributes to the Nissan Kicks e-Power’s exceptional fuel efficiency is regenerative braking.
Nissan Kicks e-Power runs 22km/L to25 km/L, depending on the driving and traffic conditions, according to UNR101 fuel efficiency testing. When compared to other traditional internal combustion engines (ICE) in the same segment, this consumption is twice as efficient. Nissan Kicks e-Power has 41-liter fuel tank capacity, which translates to a possible range of up to 900km to 1,000km in one full tank.
Nissan Kicks e-Power also comes with the new e-Pedal Step for easier and more comfortable driving. With this feature, drivers only need to use the accelerator pedal to speed up or slow down. As a result, driving in various situations, whether in cities or on highways, is much more convenient because there is less of a need to switch from one pedal to another. There is still a brake pedal if the driver wants the car in full stop.
Nissan Kicks e-Power also comes standard with Nissan Intelligent Mobility. The VL and VE variants are equipped with Intelligent Forward Collision Warning, Intelligent Emergency Braking, Vehicle Dynamic Control, and Driver Attention Alert. The VL variant’s Intelligent Around View Monitor also comes with Moving Object Detection.
All Nissan Kicks e-Power variants come standard with Hill Start Assist.
This modern subcompact SUV comes in six exterior color options: Premium Corona Orange, Cayenne Red, Pearl White, Gun Metallic, Riptide Blue, and Brilliant Silver. Its sporty look is accentuated by black double V-Motion Grilles, LED signature tail, head, and front fog lights, and silver-toned roof rail.
Nissan Kicks e-Power is the second model in the country to feature the new Nissan logo.
On the inside, Nissan Kicks e-Power is equipped with a seven-inch color TFT display meter with Power Meter, Battery Gauge, Drive Range, and Fuel Gauge. The VL and VE variants come with Nissan’s eight-inch advanced touchscreen display audio, keyless entry with Intelligent Key, and push button engine start-stop system.
The Zero Gravity Seats, D-shaped leather steering wheel, and Electronic Parking Brake Switch with Auto Hold Function makes driving more comfortable and convenient.
