NLEX Corporation’s ‘BiyaHero’ Caravan Promotes Safe Driving Practices
MANILA: As part of its efforts to promote safe driving habits among motorists using NLEX and SCTEX, NLEX Corporation hosted another BiyaHero road safety caravan during the Philippine Commercial Vehicle Show in Pasay City on July 12 to 14.

During the caravan, National Center for Commuter Safety and Protection President Elvira Medina had a talk on “Drive for life (discipline on the road) and road rage management.” Meanwhile, Cavite State University Automotive Technology Section Head Keno Domingo discussed vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting. During the Usapang Driver session, NLEX Assistant Manager for Environment, Health, and Safety Dave Bautista conducted a lecture about proper driving conduct and safe expressway driving.
Aside from talks and presentations on road safety, BiyaHero caravan attendees also participated in interactive activities, including a driving simulator, driving goggles, Spin n' Win, Wire Buzz, and the NLEX Road Warrior hoop shoot.
“In order to ensure that our expressways are safe, we regularly implement road safety education initiatives in collaboration with our stakeholders to demonstrate the safety culture we strive to promote to our motorists,” NLEX President J. Luigi Bautista stated.
