Oil companies to stop Sep. 2024 price-cut streak this week
Gasoline to go up by P1.10/L, diesel by P0.20/L
MANILA: After having major cuts for the past two weeks, oil companies in the Philippines are set to raise the prices at the pump this week.

The movements in pricing will become effective starting tomorrow September 24, 2024.Based on their respective advisories, Cleanfuel, Caltex, Jetti, Petron, Seaoil, and Unioil shared that they shall add P1.10 per liter on the price of gasoline products and P0.20 per liter on diesel.
Meanwhile, kerosene will have no price movement for the coming days.
The aforementioned adjustment in the retail prices — which other companies are expected to similarly implement — will take effect starting tomorrow (September 24).
To recall, it was last week when retail prices of gasoline went down by P1 per liter, diesel by P1.30 per liter, and kerosene by P1.65 per liter.
Prior to that, local fuel players also trimmed down gasoline prices by P1.55 per liter, diesel by P1.30 per liter, and kerosene by P1.40 per liter.
