Oil firm to implement major price hike this week

MANILA: Prices for fuel in the Philippines will have a major hike this week.

This week, gasoline products at the pump go up by P2.65 per liter, diesel by P2.70 per liter, and kerosene by P2.60 per liter.When will the adjustments take effect?
The adjustments will take effect tomorrow, October 15.
Photo from Ruben Manahan IVBased on their respective advisories, Caltex, Cleanfuel, Jetti, Seaoil, and Unioil will jack up the price of gasoline by P2.65 per liter while the price of diesel gets kicked up by P2.70 per liter.
Meanwhile, those that offer kerosene shall increase the retail price of the product by P2.60 per liter.
The price adjustment will take place tomorrow, October 15, 2024, at 6 a.m.
Other companies are expected to follow suit.
