Oil firms roll back gasoline, diesel, and kerosene prices today

MANILA: Starting today, November 22, local oil companies will offer cheaper diesel, kerosene, and gasoline at the pump.

The cost of diesel will decrease by P2.15 per liter, while the cost of kerosene will decrease by P2.10 per liter. Meanwhile the cost of gasoline is decreasing by P0.40.

Caltex have implemented the rollback on midnight Tuesday, while Petron and Shell will do the same from 6 a.m. onwards.

Around the same time as the above fuel companies, Cleanfuel, Flying V, Petro Gazz, Phoenix, PTT Philippines, Seaoil, and Unioil have followed the rollback.

Local fuel costs are determined using the Mean of Platts Singapore on an average basis (MOPS).

The MOPS stands for the Singapore trade average daily price of refined petroleum products. In Southeast Asia, it is used for the price of petroleum products.
