Oil firms to end fuel price slide streak tomorrow
Price hikes not less than P1/L
MANILA: Fuel companies in the Philippines are set to implement a price hike this week — ending the series of rollbacks that were conducted since the start of the month.

This week, companies shall add P1 per liter on gasoline and kerosene while diesel will have a P1.20-per-liter increase.When will the adjustments take effect?
The price movements will become effective tomorrow (August 20, 2024).Based on their respective advisories, Caltex, Cleanfuel, Jetti, Petron, Seaoil, and Unioil shall jack up the retail price of gasoline products by P1 per liter and diesel by P1.20 per liter.
In addition, Caltex, Petron, and Seaoil will also add P1 per liter on the retail price of kerosene.

Last week, local players slashed gasoline prices by P2.45 per liter, diesel by P1.90 per liter, and kerosene by P2.40 per liter.
