Oil firms to implement 3rd straight price slide for Aug. 2024
Retail price reduction as big as P2.45/L
MANILA: Fuel companies in the Philippines are set to implement their third consecutive pump price reduction for August 2024.

This week, fuel prices shall slide down by P2.45 per liter on gasoline, P1.90 per liter on diesel, and P2.40 per liter on kerosene.When will the adjustments take effect?
The movements in pricing will become effective starting tomorrow (August 13).Based on their respective advisories, Caltex, Cleanfuel, Jetti, Petron, Seaoil, and Unioil shall bring down the retail price of gasoline products by P2.45 per liter and diesel by P1.90 per liter.
In addition, Caltex, Petron, and Seaoil will also trim down the pricing of kerosene by P2.40 per liter.

Last week, gasoline products slid down by P0.10 per liter, diesel by P0.20 per liter, and kerosene by P0.45 per liter. The week before that, gasoline products already went down by P.075 per liter, diesel by P0.85 per liter, and kerosene by P0.80 per liter.
