Oil firms to jack up retail price prior to upcoming observance of All Saints’, All Souls’ Day

MANILA: Fuel companies in the Philippines are set to jack up the pricing of their products at the pump days before the expected surge of motorists in observance of the All Saints’ and All Souls’ Day this coming long weekend.

This week, oil firms will add P0.20 per liter on the retail price of gasoline products, and P0.50 per liter on both diesel and kerosene.When will the adjustments take effect?
The adjustments will take effect starting October 29, 2024.Based on their respective advisories, Caltex, Cleanfuel, Jetti, Petron, Seaoil, and Unioil will add P0.20 per liter on the retail price of gasoline products, and P0.50 per liter on diesel.
In addition, those who offer kerosene will implement a P0.50-per-liter increase on the said product.

Last week, oil firms reduced P0.50 per liter on gasoline, P0.70 per liter on diesel, and P0.85 per liter on kerosene.
