Oil firms welcome Sep. 2024 with price hike

MANILA: After enjoying numerous price rollbacks last month, motorists shall experience price hikes to mark the opening week of this year's "Ber" months.

This week, gasoline will go up by P0.50 per liter, diesel by P0.30 per liter. and kerosene by P0.70 per liter.When will the adjustments take effect?
The movements in pricing will become effective starting tomorrow (September 3, 2024).Based on their respective advisories, Cleanfuel, Caltex, Jetti, Petron, Seaoil, and Unioil shall jack up the price of gasoline products by P0.50 per liter and diesel by P0.30 per liter.

The aforementioned adjustment in the retail prices — which other companies are expected to similarly implement — will take effect tomorrow (September 3).
Last week, gasoline products went down by P1.15 per liter, diesel by P1.90 per liter, and kerosene by P1.85 per liter.
