Omoda, Jaecoo guarantee quality vehicles from this super factory

The local distributor of Omoda and Jaecoo guaranteed customers that only quality products will come out of its super factory in China.

Situated in the brands' global headquarters, the highly-modern factory has an annual production capacity of 300,000 complete vehicles and 200,000 knocked-down parts — with a brand-new vehicle rolling off the production line every minute.

Per Omoda, the factory utilizes a C2M (consumer to manufacturer)-centric approach, prioritizing customer experience in their on-time delivery processes and "pioneered a large-scale, personalized production model, standing as an example of the Industry 4.0 paradigm."

The brands also have five research and development centers that ensure quality in every aspect of their products — including NVH (noise, vibration, harshness) as well as passenger safety.

While nearly everything that moves inside the facility is robotics (even the automated guided vehicles that deliver parts to their respective areas), it claims that it operates as a low-energy, zero emission green factory.

“At Omoda and Jaecoo, we put utmost priority in the satisfaction of our customers. We want them to be proud and confident when they drive our vehicles, that is why we aim to deliver the best ownership experience to them with our products," Omoda Philippines Brand Manager John Ezekiel Asuncion told Zigwheels Philippines.

Earlier, Omoda and Jaecoo vowed to provide efficient aftersales support to their Philippine market, noting that they will put up a replacement storage hub in time for the brands’ official entry within the year.

The said goal will help its targeted 15 dealerships get ample supply of products to meet the demands of its customers.

Further, Omoda said that the internal combustion engine-powered version of the Omoda 5 will come with a comprehensive vehicle warranty policy of either seven years or 200,000 kilometers (whichever comes first).

Within the year, Omoda is eyeing to be present in more than 20 countries, while Jaecoo eyes to tap 10 overseas markets. Additionally, they are expecting to double their global market presence within the next two years.
