Omoda, Jaecoo PH to bolster aftersales support with DB Schenker PH

MANILA: The local wing of Omoda and Jaecoo revealed that its looking to bolster its aftersales support for Filipino customers by partnering with DB Schenker Philippines.

Last year, Omoda and Jaecoo inked an MOU with BDO.A memorandum of understanding (MOU) was signed by the involved parties, allowing the Philippine arm of the Chinese car brands to forge ties with the logistics titan. In doing so, the said companies aim to deliver more efficient and convenient automobile logistics services for Omoda and Jaecoo customers in the country.
“In the coming years, Omoda and Jaecoo will work with DB Schenker to optimize customs clearance processes, improve warehouse management efficiency, and provide integrated transportation services,” Omoda and Jaecoo wrote in a press release.
“For the Omoda and Jaecoo customers, this means optimized timing of parts delivery, ensuring that no order is left untracked, and that all deliveries are made at the quickest possible time,” the soon-to-launch automobile brands added.
According to the two upcoming Chinese marques, they plan to offer strong aftersales support for their Filipino customers from day one. Their partnership with DB Schenker Philippines will help Omoda and Jaecoo’s division in the country improve the quality of logistics services, cater to the diverse demands of their consumers, and create a more robust logistics ecosystem by optimizing allocation of resources and giving full play to their respective strengths in the upstream and downstream of the industry chain.
Furthermore, the said collaboration represents a crucial initiative for Omoda and Jaecoo in response to the new trend of green, low-carbon, and intelligent logistics development across the globe, and to foster deep integration in areas such as digitization and new energy.
“Looking ahead, Omoda and Jaecoo Philippines is set to work with DB Schenker in the Philippines to strive for an enhanced quality and competitiveness of their logistics services. This collaboration should usher better services to Filipino consumers and strengthen the incoming presence of Omoda and Jaecoo in the Philippines,” the companies stated.
On top of the MOU the two brands signed with DB Schenker, the two Chery-owned brands also inked a similar agreement with Banco De Oro Unibank, Inc. (BDO) — one of the leading financial institutions in the country.
To note, the said agreement with BDO was sealed in November last year, a few months before Omoda and Jaecoo Philippines’ supposed debut into the local automotive landscape.
