Over 100k qualified to join ‘MPTC Happy Holideals’

MANILA: More than 100,000 motorists are qualified to join in Metro Pacific Tollways Corporation’s (MPTC) promo that will raffle off two Chevrolet Tracker units.

The tollway operator for Cebu-Cordova Link Expressway (CCLEX), North Luzon Expressway (NLEX), NLEX Connector, Cavite-Laguna Expressway (CALAX), Subic-Clark-Tarlac Expressway (SCTEX), Manila-Cavite Expressway (Cavitex), and Cavitex C5 Link partnered with Chevrolet Philippines to give away two brand-new Chevrolet Tracker LS in the MPTC Happy Holideals promo.

Aside from that, MPTC will also give away more than P3 million worth of cash prizes, with 10 winners walking away with P100,000 each, while 40 winners take home P50,000 each. 

Those who want to join only need to use the MPT Drivehub app, link their Easytrip RFID account, reload and pass at least four times through any MPTC tollways during the promo period.

For every reload of P200 denomination via MPT Drivehub, users will earn an additional one point (non-cumulative). The accumulated points act as golden tickets — increasing the user’s chance of winning in the grand raffle draw.

Meanwhile, new users may download the MPT Drivehub app and link an Easytrip or CCLEX RFID, to instantly get two points.

Chevrolet Tracker LS specifications

Those who will win the Chevrolet Tracker LS will enjoy the vehicle’s following features.

The crossover is 4,270 millimeters (mm) long; 1,791 mm wide, and 1,627 mm tall with a 2,570 mm wheelbase. Luggage space can haul as much as 1,294 liters.

Outside, the raffled-off version comes with stylish chromed double grille design that matches the sweeping headlamp housing design that houses halogen lights with automatic on/off feature. Flanking the lower grille are the LED daytime running lamps.

The sport utility vehicle’s (SUV) side profile has flowing body lines that complement the black lower body molding, which gives it an athletic appeal. It is also fitted with electronically-adjustable side mirrors with integrated turn signals and heater function.

Highlighting the vehicle’s rear portion is the rear spoiler that houses the high-mount stop lamp.

The dashboard of the Chevrolet Tracker LS is in Jet Black with Captain Blue accents with the driver information console (which displays Tripmeter, fuel range, average fuel economy, among others) in mono-chrome styling. Sitting in the middle is the eight-inch infotainment system with Apple Carplay and Bluetooth connectivity matched to a Bose Premium four-speaker (two front, and two tweeters) set-up.

In addition, the five-seater vehicle’s leather seats for the front occupants can be adjusted four-way manually while the rear bench can be folded 60:40.

Powering the Chevrolet Tracker LS is a 1.0-liter inline, three, turbocharged gasoline mill that can deliver 116 horsepower and 175 Newton-meters of torque. It is mated to a six-speed automatic transmission with manual mode.

In addition, the crossover comes with an anti-lock braking system with electronic brakeforce distribution, panic brake assist, torque vectoring system, enhanced understeer control — among others — as part of the vehicle’s advanced safety and assistive technologies.

The Chevrolet Tracker LS is priced at P1,218,888.
