Parts of Roxas Blvd to be Closed on Independence Day

Kalaw Street to P. Burgos Street are going to be closed from 5 a.m. until 10 a.m. for a flag-raising ceremony.
From 12:01 a.m. to 10 p.m., Katigbak Parkway, South Road, and Independence Road will be closed for a civic-military parade.
The MMDA advised that affected trucks traveling to North Harbor reroute from SLEX straight ahead to Osmeña Highway, then turn right to Quirino Avenue, continue straight onto the Nagtahan Bridge, travel down Lacson Avenue, turn left to Yuseco Street, and straight ahead to Capulong Street before turning right or turning left onto R-10 Road to reach their destination.
Trucks traveling from Parañaque may turn right at Quirino Avenue to go to Nagtahan then Lacson Avenue to go to their destination. The same route may be used by trucks traveling south.
The MMDA will also deploy traffic enforcers to help with traffic control. Tow trucks, ambulances, and vacuum trucks will also be deployed.
