MANILA: The Jaecoo EJ6 has made its official debut in the country at the recently-concluded 12th Philippine Electric Vehicle Summit.

The Jaecoo EJ6 is offered in rear-wheel and all-wheel-drive options.The fully-electric sport utility vehicle made its public debut at the three-day event after the initial batch of units arrived last October 21.
Known as the iCar 03, the Jaecoo EJ6 was developed under the brand's “off-road trendy” design philosophy.
Per the Jaecoo’s Philippine distributor, the model is built to “navigate various terrains including steep mountain slopes, water, and forests.”

The Jaecoo EJ6 measures 4,406 millimeters (mm) in length, 1,910 mm in width, and 1,715 mm in height —with wheelbase of 2,715 mm.
Its boxy look complements its inverted L-shaped front illumination, huge front bumpers, extended wheel arches, as well as black accents found on the pillars, and side mirrors.
Inside, the Jaecoo EJ6 is outfitted with a 9.2-inch instrument panel, 15.6-inch infotainment touchscreen powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 processor, 50-watt Qi wireless charger, panoramic glass roof, and an optional 12-speaker Infinity sound system.
Powertrain
Offered in rear-wheel- and all-wheel-drive options, the Jaecoo EJ6 was made with a six-in-one motor system.

Aside from powertrain, the vehicle also has two battery options — with the RWD version fitted with 65.69 kilowatt-hour (kWh) and the other, 69.77 kWh (both made up of lithium iron phosphate). Amid powertrain-battery differences, both trims offer a range of as much as 421 kilometers.
Further the model can accelerate to 100 kilometers per hour from rest in less than seven seconds.
