Philippines debut: 2015 Chrysler 300C

MANILA: Revealed at the 2014 Los Angeles Auto Show, the updated 2015 Chrysler 300C has finally arrived in the Philippines market. The updated sedan will be sold by Auto Nation Group Inc., the official distributor of Chrysler in the country. Chrysler witnessed its PH debut at the Manila Polo Club in Makati City.

First thing first, this sedan features some stunning exterior looks that contribute to its bold yet classy design language. At the front, it features an enlarged honeycomb shaped grille and air vents that rightly compliments the re-styled HID projector beam headlights. Further, enhancing its beauty are the LED daytime running lights and its sleek bumper. Moving on to its side profile, one can easily notice the chrome finished ORVM and door handles, adding up its charm are the side character lines giving the sedan a well-crafted body. Also, its prominent looking wheel arches housing the 17-inch alloy wheels will not fail to impress you.

The stunning design is carried further to the rear end, displayed in the form of vertical tail lights, trapezoidal exhaust pipe, and a lip spoiler that apart from adding to its beauty increases its performance too. It is also equipped with a large center spot lamp and shark-fin antenna, raising its utility count.

Inside the cabin area, the 2015 Chrysler features an 8.4-inch touch display screen, accompanied by a 7-inch full-color driver information display (DID) and a three-spoke steering wheel embossed with various functional buttons. Moving towards the dashboard and center console that now holds a layer of Nappa leather, hand-sanded wood, and ultra-premium Poltrona Frau leather, giving the sedan a premium feel.

Under the hood, it houses a 3.6L Pentastar V6 engine that generates a maximum power of 290 PS at 6350 rpm and maximum torque of 340 Nm at 4650 rpm. The said engine is coupled with an eight-speed automatic transmission. Further, raising its handling standards are the new sport-tuned suspension with greater resistance, making your ride smooth and jerk free.

Safety is also taken full care of with the forward collision warning, adaptive cruise control and lane departure warning with lane keep assist. An alarm is raised by the integrated 'ultrasonic' security system if the car is being towed or raised.
