  • How many Cayenne units did Porsche deliver globally in the first nine months of 2024?

For the first nine months of 2024, Porsche managed to deliver 77,686 Cayenne units around the world.
  • Additionally, the German sports car marque’s breakdown of the said delivery figure showed North America with 61,471 units handed over to clients from January-September 2024. Europe (excluding Germany) saw 52,465 deliveries, China with 43,280, and Germany with 26,838. Other regions, including emerging markets, saw 41,972 Porsche units turned over to customers in the same period.

“Customer demand remains at a robust level and the feedback from our customers on the new models is very good. As product availability increases, we are optimistic about the final spurt for 2024,” Member of the Executive Board for Sales and Marketing at Porsche AG Detlev von Platen said.

The Stuttgart-headquartered brand also shared that 77,686 units delivered for the first nine months of 2024 were of the new Cayenne. A total of 55,000 units of the all-electric Macan, 39,744 units of the 911, 21,506 of the Panamera, 14,042 of the Taycan electric vehicle, and 18,048 units of the 718 (Boxter and Cayman) likewise went to their rightful owners in the said period.

“The new all-electric generation of the SUV is being handed over to the first customers these days. We are convinced that it was worth the wait and that the Macan will impress with its innovations and performance,” von Platen shared.

With the delivery figures stated above, Porsche's first nine months of 2024 appear to be a success. Regardless, von Platen admitted that it has been a challenging year for the car maker due to limited availability for some select nameplates. Currently, Porsche says it is focusing on a “quality-oriented ramp-up” of its new models to meet customer demand.

To note, Porsche’s latest launches include the ultra-limited 911 Turbo 50th Anniversary, the next-gen Panamera, and the expanded model range of the Macan. The car brand likewise received top marks from the 2024 J.D. Power USA Brand Loyalty Study under the premium market category
