Porsche retails over 200K units in full 9 months of 2023
MANILA: Porsche sold a total of 242,722 vehicles from January to September 2023, corresponding to a 9.6-percent increase versus the same period last year.

Porsche reported that its sales revenue from January to September 2023 increased to €30.13 billion.Throughout the first nine months of the year, Porsche delivered 51,742 vehicles across Europe, 23 percent higher than the same period in 2022. In North America, the luxury carmaker sold 64,487 units, representing a 14-percent increase.
Meanwhile, in China, 60,748 Porsche units were sold from January and September, 13 percent lower than the same period last year. The country’s ongoing economic challenges were seen as the main reason for the sales decline.
40,931 units were delivered to customers in the overseas and emerging markets, corresponding to a 23-percent rise.
“Across all model lines, our vehicles are in high demand worldwide. At the same time, exclusivity and individualization of our products are steadily increasing. We benefit from robust positioning in key global regions. We have seen above-average growth in Europe, North America as well as in the ‘Overseas and Emerging Markets’ region,” Porsche Executive Board Chairman Oliver Blume stated.
The Macan emerged as Porsche's best-selling model in the first three quarters of 2023, with 68,354 units sold.
It was followed by the Cayenne with 64,457 units delivered, the 911 with 38,789 deliveries, the Panamera with 26,779 units sold, the Taycan with 27,885 units delivered, and the 718 with 16,458 deliveries.
Porsche also reported that its sales revenue from January to September increased by 12.6 percent to €30.13 billion, while its operating profit rose by nine percent to €5.5 billion.
The operating return on sales of Porsche AG at the end of the third quarter was at 18.3 percent. Net cash flow for the automotive segment increased from €3.27 billion to €3.39 billion, while the net cash flow margin was 12.2 percent, down from 13.4 percent last year.
