Porsche, UP.Labs eye streamlined automotive repair with Sensigo introduction

MANILA: Porsche, in partnership with UP.Labs, launched a startup that aims to anticipate and streamline automotive repairs.

Dubbed the Sensigo, the startup created an AI-based platform with the goal of enhancing the customer and service technician experience, reducing warranty risk, and boosting service center profitability.

“Sensigo addresses a real-world challenge in which cars are heavily software-driven, yet software engineers aren't integrated into the service center team. This results in lost time and money for customers, service centers, and original equipment manufacturers,” Sensigo Chief Executive Officer Rakesh Hegde stated.

“We built Sensigo to transform the technician experience by empowering them with AI-based workflows and smart diagnostic tools to help address repairs and service more efficiently all while significantly enhancing the customer experience,” he added.

Porsche values the importance of quickly identifying any potential error sources since workshop visits are getting more and more complicated due to the increased connectivity in vehicles. This boosts customer satisfaction, generates more earnings, and lowers warranty expenses.

With Sensigo, UP.Labs is advancing its collaboration with Porsche to establish startups that revolutionize the automotive industry. Pull Systems, the first startup launched by UP.Labs and Porsche, monitors and automates electric vehicle battery performance. It is projected to save Porsche a lot of money and hopes to expand to more automakers by next year.

UP.Labs is also collaborating with other global corporate partners to advance the future of mobility.
