Portion of Ninoy Aquino Avenue to be closed tonight

MANILA: A portion of Ninoy Aquino Avenue near Imelda Bridge in Parañaque City will be closed tonight at 6 p.m. until Monday at 5 a.m. for the construction of the Ninoy Aquino Station of the LRT-1 Cavite Extension project.

The LRT-1 Cavite Extension project will extend the LRT-1 from Baclaran to Bacoor, Cavite. In July, DOTr Undersecretary for Railways Cesar Chavez announced that the project was 69% complete.
According to Usec. Chavez, 122 trains and around 24 rolling stock for the project are ready, and all stations have been developed except in Las Piñas and Bacoor.
