Ram rolls out Lunar Editions for Power Wagon, Rebel Heavy Duty models
Special edition pick-up trucks feature moon-themed decorative bits
MANILA: Ram has rolled out special-edition versions of the Rebel Heavy Duty and Power Wagon pick-up truck models. The new variants are called the Lunar Editions, as both mainly feature the same hue as Earth’s nearest celestial neighbor.

The Ram Power Wagon Lunar Edition can produce up to 410 horsepower and 581 Newton-meters of torque.For starters, both models use a Ceramic Grey exterior color paired with exclusive Lunar vinyl graphics in gloss black. The two special-edition pick-up trucks were also kitted out with tow mirrors, body-color badging, and premium exterior LED lighting fixtures.
For the Ram Power Wagon, it was equipped with a set of 17-inch wheels, while the Rebel was provided with 20-inch wheels. Both wheel sets are finished in black and wrapped with 33-inch all-terrain tires. Only the Power Wagon received a two-inch lift from the factory.
Inside, the Lunar Edition models were furnished with Surf Blue stitching to contrast black leather upholstery. Also, twill film accents were added to both model’s interior door cards, center console, and instrument cluster. A die-cast metal badge with brushed satin chrome lettering was likewise fitted on both truck models’ center console lids to spell out “Power Wagon” or “Rebel.”
Apart from the improvements mentioned above, the Ram Power Wagon and Rebel Lunar Edition models each come with the same engines as their standard counterparts.
For the Power Wagon, it uses a 6.4-liter Hemi V8 capable of producing 410 horsepower (hp) and 581 Newton-meters (Nm) of torque.
Ram touts the said model as its most off-road capable truck. As such, it was given front and rear locking differentials, a Warn winch, and a sway bar disconnect system. It also boasts a towing capacity of up to 4,813 kilograms (kg).
The Rebel Heavy Duty, meanwhile, utilizes a 6.7-liter Cummins turbodiesel, which can output up to 370 hp and 1,156 Newton-meters of torque. It gets the American brand’s link-coil rear suspension system and a maximum payload capacity of up to 1,674 kg.
Price-wise, Ram shared that the Power Wagon Lunar Edition will retail at $85,490 (P4.816 million at current exchange rates). Also, deliveries of the moon-themed pick-up trucks will be started by the Stellantis-owned brand in the US market in October 2024.
To note, the Heavy Duty series from Ram is slotted above the 1500 models in terms of size. Specifically, the said model range includes the 2500, 3500, 4500, and 5500. The Lunar Editions, in particular, are both based on the 2500.
The Rebel 1500 is available locally, but Ram Philippines has yet to introduce the Heavy Duty model line. Regardless, any local fan of big heavy rigs can appreciate and admire the all-new Lunar Edition versions from afar.
