  • The museum has a new name and has undergone a complete makeover, including a more contemporary layout and decor as well as new exhibits. The newly developed exhibition "The Future Began in 1963" covers the most significant eras and significant moments in Lamborghini's first 60 years of existence.

The 19 cars on display are the heroes, telling the story of the brand and Lamborghini's iconic technical and design heritage: innate principles that characterize the company's DNA. The narrative begins with the evolution of the brand and its products from 1963 to the present day, starting with founder Ferruccio Lamborghini.

"2023 will be a year full of original activities and developments, which opens with this new museum destination. We will celebrate our first sixty years through international events, initiatives and unexpected activities, which we will reveal during the year,” said Stephan Winkelmann, Chairman and CEO of Automobili Lamborghini at the official opening of the museum.

"We started from a challenge that Ferruccio Lamborghini took up at the beginning of the 1960s, which the company developed through pioneering and revolutionary ideas in the years that followed to write the history of the time and deliver innovations that have shaped the path of luxury super sports cars. Lamborghini always has and always will be a brand that never stops looking to the future."

There are three primary categories for the cars on show.

The Lamborghini 350GT, Miura S, Espada, LP 400 Countach, Urraco, and LM 002 are on exhibit in keeping with the Heritage theme.

The Lamborghini Diablo GT, Murciélago SV, Gallardo Performante Spyder, Huracán Performante, Aventador SVJ, Urus, and GT3 are on display in the Contemporary side.

The Lamborghini Reventón, Sesto Elemento, Veneno, Centenario, Sián, and Countach LPI 800-4 are some of the rare one-of-a-kind automobiles.

Automobili Lamborghini continues to break records, and also for 2022, it saw the best sales figures ever. In fact, the company delivered 9,233 cars worldwide, an increase of 10% over the previous year.

In all macro-regions the sign was clearly positive, maintaining a homogeneous and consistent distribution, with Asia registering an increase of 14%, followed by America with 10% and finally EMEA with 7% compared to 2021. Sales, in almost all key markets, broke all records. This was also thanks to the high reputation Lamborghini enjoys internationally, with the number of dealers increasing from 173 to 180 in just one year and with a presence in 53 different countries.

The United States continues to lead the pack with 2,721 cars delivered, up 10% from the previous year. China Mainland, Hong Kong, and Macau come in second with 1,018 cars delivered, up 9% from the year before. Germany comes in third with 808 cars delivered, up 14% from the year before. The United Kingdom comes in fourth with 650 cars delivered, up 15% from the year before. Japan comes in second with 546 cars delivered, up 22% from the year before.

The 2022 Lamborghini Urus Super SUV has proven to be a popular model (5,367 units have been delivered, up 7% from 2021), and it is followed by the impressive growth of the 2022 Lamborghini Huracán (3,113 units have been delivered, up 20% from 2021), and the Aventador with 753 units delivered, which will mark the end of its production in September 2022.
