Refreshed SsangYong Rexton SUV introduced with P1.76-M sticker price

MANILA: The bold and better, so-called "2020.5" SsangYong Rexton acquires a new round of design updates to assert its unique place on the Korean SUV specialist’s lineup.

The vehicle features a new honeycomb grill design tapering below the headlights, and its contemporary look highlights its unique role as a leading model of SsangYong.

With its authoritative presence that is now said to be more regal, the new Rexton is bound to become an exceptional choice for the most perceptive of SUV buyers.

One of the newest models of the brand for the latter half of this year, the headlight bezel color of the Rexton has been refinished into a sleeker Titanium Gray. The metallic luster of the new headlight housings enhance elegance.

Currently, a more stylish sixth color option exists for the new model. Marble Gray was launched for the first time in the 2020.5 SsangYong Rexton and it blends Space Black, Grand White, Fine Silver, and Atlantic Blue as high-quality color options for the Rexton line.

The new metallic shade generates a more unique color option for those who want to stay distinctive while being less flashy on the road.

Inside, the 2020.5 Rexton in 4x4 trim continues with its distinct premium brown stitching quilted leather interiors that have become a significant touch for the brand.

For the 4x2, seat ventilation for the passenger and driver seats is also present. This is a new addition of comfort and luxury that delivers the cabin experience of the 4x2 closer to its superb stablemate.

All SsangYong Rexton models continue to provide improved seven-seater entertainment and comfort with their eight-inch touchscreen infotainment system that offers vivid video and audio over six speakers.

LED interior lights also allow the cabin to be more modern and vibrant in finish. A 220-volt outlet is also available for plugging in small convenience chargers or appliances for long drives.

Featuring new functions like remote tailgate control and headlamp activation, the more versatile and elegant keyfob strengthens the sense of ownership as well as belonging of the luxury SUV of SsangYong.

The SsangYong Rexton provides an extensive safety suite with its six airbags for the 4x4 variant, brake assist, ABS, and electronic brakeforce distribution.

Along with driving supports like hill descent control and electronic stability program, the 2020.5 SsangYong Rexton is optimized to constantly provide a confident driving experience.

Moreover, to elevate the ownership experience and value of every 2020.5 SSangYong Rexton purchase, the new model now has free five-year preventive maintenance along with its current five-year vehicle warranty.

New SsangYong Rexton owners will enjoy the longer duration of its hassle-free maintenance service (PMS) that will include labor, components, and cost of oil for each of the scheduled PMS intervals for the next five years or up to 100,000 km, whichever comes first.
