MANILA: Lotus has reintroduced its racing team to once again ignite its fans, racers, and partners’ passion for motorsport.

Some of the teams racing under the Team Lotus banner in 2025 include Mahiki Racing, Pegasus Racing, and PB Racing.Collectively known as “Team Lotus,” it has combined the car maker’s factory-support programs, partner racing teams, driver development initiatives, and Lotus Cup championship events under one group. The new entity also covers the individual groups that are already primed and ready to go for several global motorsport events in 2025.
“Motorsport has been in Lotus’ DNA from day one and we have hundreds of Lotus’ that compete every weekend in all forms of classic, national, and international races,” Head of Motorsports at Lotus Cars Gavan Kershaw said.
“Team Lotus unites that passion across every level. Whether it’s GT, endurance, or grassroots competition, we’re committed to supporting teams and drivers who share our love for racing,” Kershaw added.
Most in the Team Lotus roster will be leveraging the strength of the Lotus Emira GT4. It includes Mahiki Racing, which will be competing in the British GT4, Pegasus Racing, which will enter the SRO GT Cup in Shanghai, as well as PB Racing which is set to compete in the Italian Championship and the Euro Series GT4.
Also, for 2025, Team Lotus will be sporting a unique race livery to showcase the British marque’s forward-facing vision for the aforementioned racing group.

With regard to the car, the Emira GT4 is based on the V6-powered variant of the Emira production model. For those unaware, the Emira was globally launched in 2021, and it is positioned as the direct replacement of the Evora, Exige, and Elise.
