Rolls-Royce presents bespoke whiskey and cigar chest for premium hosting experience
MANILA: The House of Rolls-Royce has officially launched the newest addition to the Connoisseur’s Collection, the Rolls-Royce Cellarette. The Cellarette contains an array of premium items which are perfect for any soiree. Its concept is derived from the brand’s rich heritage of providing clients with uncomplicated and cordial hosting opportunities.
The Cellarette perfectly represents Rolls-Royce’s precise engineering, refined hand craftsmanship, and spectacular presentation of luxury. The polished aluminum chassis wrapped by embossed Rolls-Royce Havana leather and the Obsidian Ayous Open Pore veneer serving tray with Spirit of Ecstasy inlay make the Cellarette perfect for the Rolls-Royce owners who have a passion for affable hosting.
Although the Cellarette can fit discreetly into the rear of any Rolls-Royce, it is better off displayed as a centerpiece at an al fresco dining or as a trimming at an intimate gathering.
The Cellarette features a dark exterior with Armagnac leather accents which are highlighted by a soft light. An array of glamorous accessories is uncovered mechanically, depicting the opening of the coach doors of a Rolls-Royce car. Once unfurled, the client is presented with hand-blown lowball glasses, each intricately polished with the “RR” monogram. The glasses rotate outwards as the unit opens, stimulating the inviting sense of theater.
A sumptuous Armagnac leather-lined bottle pannier is also unveiled together with the glasses. It comes with an “RR”-embellished holder that can adapt to different bottle sizes. The bottle is magnetically held in place by a polished aluminum fastener.
The humidor at the opposing end provides a cigar tray when opened. The cigars are huddled in Spanish Cedarwood at the chosen humidity level, which is precisely monitored by a hygrometer. With its unique derailing, the hygrometer evokes the hands of the iconic Rolls-Royce clock.
Two small containers are magnetically placed at either end of the cassette — one container is for an exquisitely detailed cigar cutter and lighter made by ST Dupont, Paris and is engraved with the Spirit of Ecstasy Expression, and the other is for an ashtray.
The Cellarette signifies Rolls-Royce’s commitment to produce first-class luxury products and experiences for its clients beyond the boundaries of the automotive setting. Just like any Rolls-Royce product, the Cellarette can be customized based on the client’s preferred specification.
In a statement, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Bespoke Designer Nicholas Abrams said, “The Rolls-Royce Cellarette, the latest addition to the Rolls-Royce Connoisseur’s Collection, offers our clients new ways to enhance their lifestyle beyond the experience of their Rolls-Royce motor car. Historically, Cellarettes were used to secure wine and spirits. This bespoke chest can be configured to stow aperitifs or digestifs, dependent on the client’s preferences, alongside prized cigars, in a spectacular fashion.”
The Rolls-Royce Cellarete is now available at any Rolls-Royce dealership worldwide. Pricing starts from £44,150 (approximately P3.041 million).
