The 2024 season of the Seaoil Radical Challenge Philippines will start on September 20-22, 2024.Specifically, the racing series’ third season will kick off at the Batangas Racing Circuit this month as its curtain-raiser event, followed up by the title-deciding finals at the Clark International Speedway on October 11-13, 2024.
Similar to previous seasons, the upcoming third season of what has been dubbed the “country’s fastest race series” follows a three-day format. The first day involves free practice, while the second day will have the qualifying rounds and Race 1. The third day, meanwhile, will see the running of Race 2 and 3. To note, each sprint race will be 30 minutes long, from start to finish.
New to the 2024 season is the SR3 Challenge Cup, which will share the same grid as the SR1 Challenge Cup.
Both specifications of Radical cars use a carbon-steel space frame chassis and a lightweight open-top fiberglass body.
The SR1-spec vehicles are powered by a 1.5-liter inline-4 engine capable of making 185 horsepower (hp). However, the 1.5-liter mill on the SR3 features a peppier 228-hp tune. Both also use a five-speed manual gearbox.
As hinted above, Seaoil has renewed its support for the 2024 season. It will likewise step in as the racing series’ official fuel supplier by providing the participating teams with its Extreme 97 Octane gasoline product. The 2024 edition of the race likewise welcomes BPI as its newest sponsor.

Per Radical Motorsport, some notable entries in the 2024 grid include two-time Automobile Association Philippines Driver of the Year Miguel Quiñones, Thailand Super Series driver Jun Caceres, and Portuguese driver Andre Rodrigues.
