MANILA: Manila International Auto Show is not just about car launches, its reach further extends to mind-blowing stunt shows, safety lessons and more. But in the middle of all these actions, there stands a never-seen-before Jeepney. Yes, you read it right, the Philippines favorite means of public transport has also reserved itself a booth at the ongoing auto show. At a time when all eyes are eagerly waiting to see latest cars to arrive on the Philippines shore, it was no less than a delight to see this one making its stand at MIAS.

Now, let's see how this one different from its decoration loving siblings present all over the country. First, the size, Jeepney displayed at the 2016 MIAS cuts out inches from all angles. Secondly, seating capacity, this front will see some massive downfall, obviously coming from the decreased dimensions. Lastly, it missed out on kitsch decoration but still retains the charm to look attractive and engaging.

What else we noticed apart from the smallest Jeepney was a Willys Jeep standing a booth ahead. All in all, we feel this year's MIAS in stores many surprises.

It seems like MIAS 2016 is not just a platform for big guns to showcase their marvel in the automobile industry but, it has a wider aspect too. Showcasing of Jeepney is surely hinting towards a new face of public transport but, looking at the practicality aspect of this vehicle, the company has missed out a bit on this front.
