Subaru PH rolls out all-new 2021 Evoltis SUV

MANILA: Motor Image Pilipinas, Inc., the official distributor of Subaru vehicles in the Philippines, has officially launched the all-new 2021 Evoltis.

The Subaru Evoltis, also known as the Subaru Ascent in North America, is the largest model in the brand’s entire lineup. Among all markets under the Motor Image Group in Asia, the Philippines is the only county where the Evoltis will be offered. This model is manufactured in the United States.

Subaru Evoltis

The all-new Evoltis is powered by the new FA24, 2.4-liter turbocharged boxer engine that delivers 260hp and 375Nm of torque. It has a 5,000-pound towing capacity and 220mm of ground clearance.

The Evoltis was assembled on the Subaru Global Platform. Moreover, it uses the Subaru Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive system with X-Mode. The SUV comes with more than 100 safety features, including the EyeSight, the only stereo camera-based safety system in its segment. It is also equipped with various driver assist safety technologies including adaptive cruise control, pre-collision braking, pre-collision throttle management, lane departure warning, lane sway warning, and lead vehicle start alert.

The Evoltis features a premium cabin and provides comfort to all occupants with its 2-2-3 layout. The second row is upholstered with captain seats, ensuring a cozier ride.

Other luxurious interior features include a 14-speaker, 792-watt Harman/Kardon sound system, an eight-inch infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, 54-inch panoramic sunroof, three-zone automatic climate control with rear-seat controls, smart rear view mirror, USB ports, power outlets, and 19 cup and bottle holders.

In a statement, Motor Image Pilipinas, Inc. Country Manager Gerry Hernandez said, “We are entering the premium seven-seater SUV market with this spacious, feature-packed model. It has the best safety features in the segment with EyeSight as standard. It has excellent handling, drivability, and power, possessing all the hallmarks of a Subaru vehicle built on the Subaru Global Platform and equipped with Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive. It can even tow boats! It is well-designed and practical, with thoughtful details to make every journey comfortable for all passengers, such as second row captain seats and true third row seating. It may not be the cheapest in its segment, but it is the best value proposition for the family.”

The Subaru Evoltis is available in only one variant which is priced at P3.48 million. It comes in five different body colors: Crystal White Pearl, Ice Silver Metallic, Crystal Black Silica, Crimson Red Pearl, and Abyss Blue Pearl.

As a special treat, the first 50 customers who will register at subaru.asia/evoltis and complete their purchase of the all-new Evoltis will receive a limited-edition Evoltis watch.

The Subaru Evoltis is now available for viewing and test-drive in all Subaru dealerships nationwide.
