Suzuki conquers Philippine auto industry with 14 percent growth in H1 2019

MANILA: Suzuki Philippines Inc. concludes the first half of 2019 by posting 14 percent sales increase over the corresponding year and rising to the fifth position in the Chamber of Automotive Manufacturers of the Philippines Inc. (CAMPI) and sixth place in the local automobile industry. Suzuki overtakes Isuzu ( 6,827 units), Honda ( 9,928 units), and Kia ( 2,396 units), with 10,817 units sold.

General Manager and SPH Director for Automobile Division Keiichi Suzuki stated “We started the year on the right foot and strengthened our efforts in Q2 to reach more Filipino customers. Our aggressive and strategic marketing campaigns are key in pushing up our position both in the Philippine automobile industry and CAMPI rankings.

These achievements reflect the Filipinos’ growing trust in our brand and the quality Suzuki cars that we provide. We are more driven now more than ever to bring only quality driving experience in every Suzuki ride.” 

SPH proceeds to satisfy the market with best-performance cars such as Swift, Celerio, latest Ertiga, Dzire and Vitara to provide excellent driving experience to every Filipino. The above-mentioned best-selling Suzuki vehicles collectively added 77 percent to entire H1 2019 sales. The car-maker is ready for extended growth for the following months with added targeted marketing policies.

Despite constant attempts to bring the vehicles handy to the target markets via test drives and product displays, the brand strengthens its appearance in the transport scene through promotions and active campaigns. In addition to that, it also made ride-sharing a more pleasant experience not only for drivers but for the passengers as well with the Suzuki Ciaz. The car runs on a smooth K14B engine and has an aerodynamic body for improved efficiency.
