Suzuki Philippines Announced 2016 Mid-Year Sales Report - Swift, Ertiga & Celerio Are The Best Sellers

MANILA: Mid-year review is an important task for any company for find if it is in right pace to hit the annual target or lagging behind. Suzuki Philippines, though a little late, has finally revealed its 2016 mid-year sales report reporting that the company is able to achieve its targets so far. The company further announced that it has experienced a sales growth of 37 percent in the 2016 first half in comparison to the last year's sales figures. Earlier to Suzuki Philippines Inc. (SPH), Mitsubishi Philippines and Ford Philippines also revealed their mid-year 2016 sales report where they flaunted their astonishing market growth. Mitsubishi Philippines recorded 21 percent growth while Ford Philippines had 61 percent more sales in comparison to the last year's sales during January and June 2016.

While announcing the report Shuzo Hoshikura – the General manager for Automobile, Suzuki Philippines cited, "We are very happy with the recent growth in our sales and we would like to thank those who remain loyal to our brand. Be assured that better days are coming as we announce additional launches this year”.

Suzuki is the only brand in the Philippines which deals in cars as well as motorcycles and according to CAMPI, the Japanese company showed a tremendous sales growth of 52 percent in the year 2015 on a year-on-year basis. If market experts are to be believed, the company is set to surpass these numbers this year and set a new sales record. The company sold a total of 6,613 units from January to June 2016 which was recorded 4,843 units last year during the same period. Let's have a look at the steps which made Suzuki Philippines achieved its targets -

Dense Network

Suzuki Philippines network

Suzuki, whether in the Philippines or in any other country, has always believed in considering the customer satisfaction and convenience in priority. To ensure that, Suzuki Philippines has a dense dealership network in the country. A total of 52 dealerships is spread in the vicinities of Metro Manila, Luzon, Mindanao and Visayas. This also includes the 3 new dealerships inaugurated in March 2016 at Malolos, Quezon and Pulilan cities.

The New Launches

Ciaz & Ertiga

While Suzuki Ertiga is already a popular drive in the Philippines automotive market, the arrival of 2016 model with a better look and enhanced features helped the Japanese giant in touching its goals. The 2016 Suzuki Ertiga arrived in the local market in May 2016 and is keeping the dealerships busy with inquiries and bookings since then. Another arrival by Suzuki in the Philippines this year was Suzuki Ciaz. This stunning sedan is already a big hit in the neighboring countries. Arrived in April 2016, this sedan is making its rivals jealous and customers happy with its high booking numbers, performance, and style.

The Bestsellers

Swift, Celerio & Ertiga

Though Suzuki is not able to make it n the list of top 5 brands in sales according to the mid-year 2016 sales report by CAMPI, but it is pretty much satisfied with its personal growth. The company has Celerio, Swift, and Ertiga in its tow, which are counted amongst the top choices of the Filipinos. While Suzuki Swift showed a 9 percent hike, Ertiga improved its sales to 20 percent and Celerio experienced 5 times more sales between January – June 2016 comparison to the same tenure of last year.

Surely, the Japanese brand is striving hard to make its place in the top 5 brands and only time will tell if Suzuki can successfully hit the leaders' chart.
