Suzuki XL7 bookings open, P30,000 discount available
MANILA: The Suzuki Ertiga has been one of the top-selling MPVs in the Philippines ever since its launch in the country. Moreover, the arrival of the new-generation Ertiga further gave a boost to the MPVs sales figures thanks to the much modern looks and better overall dynamics of the car. Even though the Suzuki Ertiga ticks the majority of the boxes for a seven-seater four-wheeler, the Philippines has always wanted a seven-seater SUV with a perfect blend of practicality and muscle. The only SUV offering by the Japanese automaker in the country is the Suzuki Vitara, which is also a five-seater car.
But, that was only until now, as Suzuki opens the order books for its all-new XL7, a seven-seater SUV that comes based on the Ertiga MPV. Suzuki had already launched the XL6, a six-seater model in India, earlier in 2019. The SUV featured captain seats in the second, and hence, got the title of XL6. And, it was only recently when Suzuki, at last, brought out the seven-seater XL7 in Indonesia, and now in the Philippines.
Thanks a promo that runs from March 1, 2020, to March 18, 2020, the Filipino customers can reserve a Suzuki XL7 at just Php 5,000. Also, the first lot of customers will be given a discount of Php 30,000 on the actual price of Php 1,068,000.
Providing the Suzuki XL7 with a muscular and upright stance is a pair of LED headlamps flanking a wide blacked-out grille that flaunts a horizontal chrome strip along with a Suzuki logo, rugged front & rear bumpers with silver skid plates, roof rails, all-around black body cladding, sharp & bold shoulder line, large alloy wheels, dual-tone tailgate with black treatment, and vertically elongated wraparound taillights. On the inside, there is ample space and a host of creature comforts. All three rows boast sufficient headroom and legroom, and the boot space even with the third row up is at 153 litres. Powering the all-new Suzuki XL7 is a 1.5-litre K15B engine that generates 104 PS of maximum power and a peak torque of 138 Nm.
At last, the Suzuki XL7 gets an array of safety features including dual front SRS airbags, ABS with EBD, keyless entry, engine immobiliser, rear parking sensors, three-point seat belts with pre-tensioners, and many others.
