Tasty TRD S variant headlines 2020 Toyota Wigo lineup

MANILA: Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP), the country's leading mobility company, has launched the 2020 upgraded version of the Toyota Wigo, the bestselling entry-level hatchback in the country.

The main highlight of the 2020 Wigo lineup is the new TRD S, a thrilling and sporty variant that is ideally designed for those seeking for more adventure when it comes to driving.

Aside from reconfigured rear combination lamps, line guide-type clearance lamps, new front and upper grille design, new front bumper design, and machine-cut design alloy wheels, the new TRD S features a fog-lamp bezel, and an installed TRD kit — obviously helping to make this variant stand out.

The kit includes TRD S decals and emblem, rear skirt, two-tone rear spoiler, front spoiler, and side skirt. The TRD S is also given a cutting-edge digital video recorder, a voice-command feature, and Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatibility, promoting an enjoyable, more convenient, and safer ride.

Inside, the TRD S variant is highlighted by chrome accents and reconfigured seats, along with an LCD air-conditioner panel for more convenient control and access.

The Wigo TRD S variant also features a steering switch and push start/stop button. Parking is easier, especially for beginners, thanks to the advanced back camera. Furthermore, the power adjusting and retracting side mirrors enable more convenient adjustability for drivers' rear visibility.

The new Yellow SE hue is only available for the Wigo TRD S variant.

The new Wigo aims to deal with the mobility needs of customers during this time that public transportation and safety are both compromised. It is the recommended option for budget-conscious first-time vehicle buyers and those searching for an additional car for other family members.

All new Wigo variants also come with safety features such as SRS airbags for the front passenger and driver, anti-lock brake system (ABS), back sonar, and power window and door lock.
