The Brio has a fuel consumption rating of 24.39kpl, the BR-V 22.58kpl, and the City 25.17kpl.
  • How did the three Honda cars reached those figures?

The fuel economy runs were conducted with the AAP’s supervision, with parameters for the vehicles include cruising speed of 60 to 80kph at 1,500 to 2,000rpm, and with the cars' aircon setting to 24°C temperature and the lowest fan speed.
  • In line with the global mission of preserving the environment, Honda Cars Philippines, Inc. (HCPI) has been offering a range of fuel-efficient models, which are namely the Brio, BR-V, and City

The fuel consumption recorded from the models were achieved during fuel economy runs organized by HCPI and the Automobile Association of the Philippines (AAP).

Powered by a 1.2-liter SOHC i-VTEC engine paired to a CVT, the Brio showed an economy rating of 24.39kpl. The subcompact hatchback exhibits power that also delivers great gas mileage and ample space, and breaks the norms of typical small cars.

The fuel economy runs were conducted with the AAP’s supervision, with parameters for the vehicles include cruising speed of 60 to 80kph at 1,500 to 2,000rpm, and with the cars' aircon setting to 24°C temperature and the lowest fan speed.

Honda vehicles are also among the first to feature an eco-coaching light that illuminates when the driver is driving in a fuel-efficient manner. Honda cars also have an eco-assist system and econ button to promote fuel-efficient driving.

HCPI clarified that while the Brio, BR-V, and City are fuel-efficient, it is worth noting that the fuel consumption would vary depending on how the owner uses and takes care of his or her vehicle.
