These are the 3 Bronco trims Ford is launching
MANILA: Ford has revealed the three trims of the Bronco 4x4 it will be launching on July 13, a two-door, the first-ever four-door, and a smaller Sport model.
The automaker isn’t deviating from the DNA of the original 1966 model that started it all, but the all-new Bronco will now come with updatable technologies and is designed “with today’s outdoor enthusiasts in mind.”
“Bronco gave rise to the fun and versatile off-road SUV in 1966, becoming the first enjoyable sport utility vehicle for those who wanted to live, work and play outdoors. Like the original, the all-new Bronco family is engineered to take you to epic places, with capability to deliver confidence on any type of terrain,” said Jim Farley, Ford chief operating officer.
Across the three trims are these three Built Wild principles implemented by Ford:
- Built Wild Extreme Durability Testing – Each Bronco undergoes elevated torture tests across thousands of lab, proving ground, and real-world extreme challenges in the toughest and harshest climates to ensure toughness.
- Built Wild Capability – All Broncos are capable of going over any type of terrain provided by standard 4x4 and an exclusive terrain management system, plus unique Bronco-variant architectures with class-leading levels of capability and suspension technology
- Built Wild Innovative Design – Broncos come with new design innovations coupled with heritage-inspired DNA, plus new-levels of personalization that can flatter the novice and challenge the expert adventure seeker
The Ford Bronco team is setting up "Off-Roadeo" outdoor adventure playgrounds in four US locations starting 2021 where owners and enthusiasts can test the new Bronco lineup in challenging terrain and experience authenticity in the wild.
“Rugged vehicles are in our heritage and we see strong growth opportunities with this ever-more popular segment. The Bronco brand meets that need by creating a family of truly capable off-roaders to take our customers further into the wild. We’ve leveraged extensive off-road experience from vehicles like our F-150 Raptor to ensure that every Bronco delivers the ‘Built Wild’ toughness and durability our customers expect,” said Kumar Galhotra, Ford president, Americas and International Markets Group.
Catch the launch of the 2021 Ford Bronco 4x4 SUV lineup on ABC, ESPN, and National Geographic July 14, 8 a.m. local time.
