Tiny Sports car Honda S660 Shows up at Tokyo Motor Show
MANILA: The S660 is a right-hand-drive kei car that comes under a Japanese automobile segment. It is about 17% shorter in comparison to the CR-Z. It is powered by a 660 cc in-line three-cylinder engine and produces a peak power output of 63 hp. The interesting part is that the small body weighs just 830 kg. The compact chassis lets the body turn sharply with a bit of front lean.
The overall setup of this sports car promises to deliver a balanced ride and decent handling. The S660 is suitable for driving around short track and take a quick spin. S660's engine comes paired with a six-speed manual transmission and the clutch appears very soft and responsive. On a short track, this tiny beast is capable to nudge 100kph.
However, there is less chances of getting this car into Philippines market as it lies alone in the kei category and seems designed for Japan in particular. Also the Philippines market holds soft-left hand-drive, the support might not be available. But, this small car is simply magnificent and beautiful.
We hope that Honda comes with more exciting products similar to S660 in the future and let people enjoy the thrill across the globe. We also wish that it makes way to Philippines in the coming days.
