Toyota PH launches ‘new mobility solutions’ venture
MANILA: Toyota Motor Philippines Corporation (TMP) has officially launched Toyota Mobility Solutions Philippines, Inc. (TMSPH), a subsidiary that will offer mobility-related services.

TMP President Atsuhiro Okamoto is confident that TMSPH will “better shape the industry’s role in building our modern societies and enriching human lives.” “We will accelerate the fulfillment of Toyota’s global mission to ‘Produce Happiness for All’ and vision to create ‘Mobility for All,’” he added.
TMSPH will be led by Chief Executive Officer Ma. Cristina Fe Arevalo. According to her, TMP’s concept of “new mobility” will help address the concerns of moving people and goods through technology and data-driven lifestyle and business solutions. “We envision TMSPH to be at the center of the ‘new mobility’ ecosystem as an integrated, ‘one-stop’ mobility solutions provider to help advance businesses and address local communities’ needs,” Arevalo said.
She also highlighted that TMSPH will support micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises which significantly contribute to economic growth.
TMSPH is considered as a “New Mobility Dojo” that is anticipated to upgrade domestic mobility systems while providing job opportunities for technical and customer-centric professionals. As of launch, TMSPH has employed 30 individuals.
As the automotive industry continues to recover from the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, TMP assures that automotive production will remain as its core business and will continue to drive economic development.
“Our vision has always been to contribute to the Philippine economy and society through our automotive manufacturing business. As of the end of last year, Toyota is happy to provide jobs for approximately 63,000 Filipinos at TMP, our dealers, suppliers, and affiliates. We have also contributed $17.1 billion in terms of auto component exports to our Toyota group worldwide since we started export operations in 1997,” TMP Chairman Alfred Ty said.
TMP manufactures two models, the Innova and the Vios, at its production plant in Santa Rosa, Laguna.
