Toyota PH reaches out to customers via Telegram app
MANILA: Worried about monthly payments for your brand-new Toyota? Are you concerned about missed maintenance schedules? Well whatever your query is, Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) has an answer for, literally.
TMP is inviting all Toyota owners to download the Telegram app, which is available via iOS and Android, and subscribe to their channel @toyotamotorphilippines to learn about the brand’s latest advisories.
The channel was created in February 28, 2019 but is now active with content ranging from the launch of the all-new RAV4 last year to advisories on vehicle maintenance, sanitation tips, dealer operations, payments, warranty, periodic maintenance, and even insurance policies.
As COVID-19 forced the government to extend the enhanced community quarantine (ECQ) until May 15, 2020, this portal is where users can glean information on issues in relation to any after-sales service from Toyota dealerships.
When they do open, Toyota advises that all dealerships will strictly follow and implement guidelines in accordance with Department of Health. There will be body temperature scanning at all dealership entrances and only those with readings below 37.3˚C will be allowed to enter. Continuous sanitation of the dealership will be conducted and, to observe physical distancing, only a limited number of people will be accommodated at a given time.
Dealership employees will be advised to wear personal protective gear and continue to observe proper hygiene for everyone’s safety.
Toyota Financial Services Philippines has expanded the covered period for the loan payment extension from March 18 to April 30, 2020.
For vehicles with warranty expiring within March 17 to April 30, 2020 and those scheduled for periodic maintenance service within the same period, both will receive a 30-day grace period.
Insurance policy holders with coverage expiring between April 15 to April 30, 2020, an extension of 30 days from expiry date will also be given.
