Toyota Sept. 2023 YTD global sales breach 7.5-M-unit milestone

MANILA: Toyota Motor Corporation sold 7,571,733 vehicles from January to September 2023, 6.7-percent higher versus its total vehicle sales in the same period last year.

Sales inside Japan in the first nine months of 2023 reached 1,284,065 units, rising by 32.9 percent compared to the same period last year.

Meanwhile, 6,287,668 units were sold outside Japan, reflecting a 2.5-percent increase.

In September alone, the Japanese carmaker sold a total of 921,308 vehicles, increasing by 11.6 percent compared to its sales in the same month last year. 144,246 of Toyota vehicles sold in September were delivered within Japan, while 777,062 were sold in global markets.
