Toyota Vios 1.5 G rejoins PH lineup
Leading local auto distributor puts back top-spec option in local lineup

The Toyota Vios 1.5 G MT is priced at P979,000 while the CVT kind, P1.039 million.As posted in the Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) website, the Toyota Vios 1.5G (in manual gearbox and continuous variable transmission [CVT> variants) rejoined the subcompact sedan’s list of offerings.
Screenshot from TMP websiteBoth powered by a 1.5-liter 2NR-FE mill that can dish out 106 horses and 140 Newton-meters of torque, the Toyota Vios 1.5 G MT is priced at P979,000 while the CVT kind, P1.039 million.
In addition, the two Toyota Vios 1.5 G versions are fitted with an eight-inch infotainment system mated to a six-speaker set-up and are offered in three colors namely Super Red V, Black 1, and Grayish Blue Mica Metallic.
Early last week, the 1.5G variants were removed from the company website.
photo from TMP websiteFollowing the re-inclusion of the said trim, the Philippine-spec Toyota Vios is now back to six options — joining the 1.3-liter engine-propelled versions namely the J MT, XE CVT, XLE MT, and XLE CVT.
Meanwhile, the Toyota Vios GR-S and E variations have yet to come back in the local lineup.
