Upcoming 2024 Chevrolet Blazer EV could be first electric SS model

MANILA: Chevrolet announced that its all-new 2024 Chevy Blazer EV will be revealed on July 18. "Developed from the ground up, the Blazer EV offers a groundbreaking mix of style, performance, and technology," the American carmaker said in a release. 

Chevrolet added that it will release more details about the 2024 Blazer EV soon, but the vehicle will go on sale in spring 2023.

As shown in the teaser photo for the upcoming EV, it can seen that the vehicle wears Chevy's "SS" performance moniker badge on the grille. 

The 2024 Blazer EV will be powered by GM's Ultium battery packs, paired to single- and dual-motor powertrains. The SS could come standard with the most powerful all-wheel drive setup and the lower-priced models in single-motor configurations.
