VinFast PH offers up to P149k off VF 5

MANILA: Vinfast Philippines has introduced a new promo for its VF 5 electric vehicle (EV). It provides prospective buyers of the said model with up to P149,000 in discounts, as well as several freebies until September 30, 2024.

Per the local arm of the Vietnamese marque, the VF 5 is now available with several promo options with or without the company’s battery subscription package. Here’s a list of the discount offers for the aforementioned EV: 

1. Without battery subscription (financing): P50,000 initial discount + P48,000 downpayment, bringing the price to P1,141 million. 
2. Without battery subscription (cash/bank purchase order): P50,000 initial discount + P99,000 additional discount, reducing the price to P1.042 million. 
3. With battery subscription (financing): P50,000 initial discount + P47,000 downpayment discount, lowering the price to P942,000.
4. With battery subscription (cash/bank purchase order): P50,000 initial discount + P69,000 additional discount, lowering the price to P873,000. 

Per the offers listed above, all clients choosing to acquire the VF 5 are provided with a direct discount of P50,000. The aforementioned is packaged with freebies worth P50,000, specifically a wall-mounted charger with a free installation service. 

Customers acquiring the model through cash or bank purchase order are likewise given a P99,000 additional discount, while those buying the vehicle through financing have access to a P69,000 discount. 

Within the promo period, VinFast Philippines is also giving 100 lucky VF 5 buyers a chance to win an additional P95,000 special discount. The winners of the aforementioned will be chosen via a raffle. 

For reference, the VinFast VF 5 is offered at a suggested retail price of P992,000 with a battery subscription or P1.191 million without a battery subscription. 

Propelling the company’s smallest locally available EV unit is a 135-horsepower electric motor. It also features a 37.23-kilowatt-hour battery, which offers up to 326 kilometers (km) of range from a single charge. 

Each purchase of the VF 5 also includes a seven-year or 160,000 km powertrain warranty and a seven-year battery warranty (without battery subscription).
